The Challenge

Sexy Shoes, like some e-commerce merchants that are on the Shopify platform, were experiencing slow site speeds. Because Shopify app ecosystem, merchants have the ability to download apps to help improve their site user experience. This is both a good and bad thing because with every app comes additional script baggage that weighs down the site.

The Final Result

We improved their site speed by decreasing the time to interactive by 33% while improving the Speed Index and First Contentful Paint. We configured their site scripts to load asynchronously and removed unnecessary code from their code base.
